How the Dead Money Card Club Works

League Format

The Dead Money Card Club is an online league played on PokerBros with two scheduled tournaments each week. Weekly tournaments pay out immediately through PokerBros. A separate season entry funds league prizes.

$50 Deep Stack

Rebuys are allowed in both events. All cash payouts for weekly tournaments are handled directly through PokerBros.

Season Entry & Prizes

Players pay a $50 one-time season entry (handled outside this website) to qualify for season bonus money and the juiced final event.

Non-season players can play in any weekly tournament but do not qualify for season prizes or the juiced event.

The total season entry pool is split as follows:

The final Sunday tournament is played normally. The added money is a cash boost only and does not change how points are awarded.

Points System

Points are earned per tournament as follows:

Top 3 finish bonus:

Champions & Tiebreakers

Season Champion

Determined by total points across the season.

Tiebreakers, in order:

  1. Most 1st-place finishes
  2. Most 2nd-place finishes
  3. Most 3rd-place finishes
  4. Most total knockouts

Knockout Champion

Determined by total knockouts across Tuesday tournaments only.

Tiebreakers:

  1. Most total wins
  2. Most events played
General Notes
  • Attendance is intentionally rewarded to encourage consistent play
  • Knockouts can only be earned on Tuesday tournaments
  • All players can compete in weekly tournaments, but only season players qualify for bonus prizes
  • This league is designed to reward consistency, aggression, and winning
  • Rules are kept simple to avoid edge cases and disputes
